CORPORATE SERVICES MANAGER
Emma Howard is the Clinical Program Manager and Senior Consultant Psychologist for Centre for Corporate Health and its sister company Resilia; leading service providers in the area of human capital management.
Emma graduated from the University of Sydney with a first class honours degree in Psychology and attained registration as a Psychologist in 2009. Since then Emma has become a Psychology Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia providing both principal and secondary supervision to intern Psychologists. Emma is currently a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and NSW Psychology Board.
Working as a Senior Consultant Psychologist at Centre for Corporate Health and Resilia, Emma provides psychological services including employee assistance program counselling, critical incident de-briefing, psychological counselling and assessment, clinical supervision, mediation services, in addition to, training and development activities. Emma is also experienced providing workplace rehabilitation services within a variety of frameworks including NSW WorkCover, Life Insurance and Corporate Rehabilitation whereby she provides return to work assistance including vocational counselling, vocational assessments and job-seeking services. Emma also has extensive experience conducting medico-legal assessments and reports for the Life Insurance and Worker’s Compensation markets, including Independent Psychological Assessments, Fitness for Work Assessments, Psychological Capacity Assessments and Pre-liability Psychological Assessment.
Emma has extensive experience working in the welfare sector including psychological services under social welfare and workers compensation legislation and has a strong interest working in both the private and public sectors where she has developed good relationships and presented training in the area of resilience, bullying and harassment, how to manage difficult and aggressive people and mental health first aid training.
Emma is a key speaker at national conferences and has published media articles in areas such as workplace stress, return to work psychological claims, resilience, mental health and organisational functioning.
Emma completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) followed by completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Science (Honours). Following these qualifications, Emma completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychological Practice whilst concurrently completing Intern Psychologist requirements. All of Emma’s qualifications were obtained through the University of Sydney. Emma has been registered as a Psychologist since 2007. She is also qualified in the administration, analysis and interpretation of various psychometric tools. Recently, Emma has completed her Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Sydney finishing in June 2016.
