Penny has close to 20 years of experience as a registered Psychologist working in senior HR management roles, as well as psychological consulting roles. Working for several international companies as a senior HR Manager, she has developed expertise in the intricacies involved in managing a diverse range of employees. Penny has extensive professional experience working with staff at all levels, but particularly with senior executive employees. She specialises in providing business coaching services to improve an individual's personal effectiveness.
She has also worked extensively with organisations in managing mental health within their workplaces. Specifically, this has included mental health training, resilience training and consulting with HR and senior managers on best practice intervention strategies. Her clients range from senior management of US global investment banks through to government bodies and small start-up businesses. Penny has also previously managed a number of Employee Assistance Programs, as well as having provided counselling for staff in a variety of industries. Penny has worked with Resilia and the Centre for Corporate Health undertaking Pre-Liability Assessments for those with workers compensation claims for Psychological injury. Penny has also carried out recruitment assessments and vocational guidance for clients, assisting them at various stages of their careers.
Penny has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology from the University of New South Wales, as well as a Masters of Arts in Psychology from the University of Sydney. She has been registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia since 1994 and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society as well as the College of Organisational Psychologists.
